Forest School

Forest School was lovely and we managed to squeeze it in before the rain. We enjoyed making obstacle courses and made natural water pictures that we will turn into icy pictures. There was lots of fun in the hammock and our little pop up cafe.

This afternoon we earned 2 points in the class rewards system for great whole class behaviour AND there were lots of acts of kindness spotted by all the adults. At Forest School, we explored lots of different things, which was lovely to see today. There was a cafe / nail salon, a very challenging…

Chilly but lovely forest school with some great games and playing from the koalas…

Forest school fun ..mud painting, climbing, pulling our friends, cooking and making number four as well as finding a slugs ‘nest’ under a log seat.

Today we stumbled across a teddy bears picnic….but they were not being safe around the fire. So, we showed them how to be safe round the fire and they showed us how to be very quiet round the fire. Then in forest school, we began learning how to light our own fires

Lots of us enjoyed collecting special items from the forest floor and attaching them to our sticks with tricky bands. It’s been an afternoon of friendship and the loveliest playing at Forest school …

A lovely time a forest school this afternoon. What perfect weather! It was great to see them all so settled in their various activities.

At Forest School we continued our learning about the Vikings by whittling our very own Viking swords.

A lovely afternoon at Forest school. Today we had to find the Gruffalo child, who had hidden in the forest. Some of us made Gruffalo mud faces on the trees and others made snake or fox crumble. We also enjoyed climbing and building dens as well as digging in the mud hole. Thank you for dressing…
